Wave 1 Community Health and Wellbeing Survey PDF Print E-mail

The Wave 1 or baseline community health and wellbeing survey was conducted in May to July 2006 by BMG Research, a survey firm commissioned for the task.  In total 6,016 interviews were achieved, representing a 50 per cent response rate from randomly selected household addresses across our 14 study areas.  The distribution of the achieved interviews across the areas is given below.

All interviews were conducted face-to-face using a paper-based questionnaire.  More detailed information about the questionnaire development in the Wave 1 survey is contained in Working Paper 3, Community Survey: Wave 1 Questionnaire.
